Privacy Policy
Relay helps people manage meaningful relationships at scale. This policy explains what information Relay collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
We collect account information such as your name, email address, profile photo, and authentication details when you sign in or create an account. We also store the relationship information you choose to add to Relay, such as people, organizations, notes, tasks, reminders, groups, tags, communications metadata, and other workspace content.
If you connect Google, Relay may request access to your Google profile details, language preferences, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, birthday, organization information, contacts, and calendars. Relay uses this information to automate onboarding, create and maintain your Relay profile/contact card, suggest relevant organizations, sync relationship context, and power user-facing relational intelligence features.
How We Use Information
Relay uses your information to provide the product: syncing contacts and calendars, organizing relationship context, surfacing follow-up priorities, helping you find and remember people, personalizing onboarding, and improving reliability and security.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use Google user data for advertising, retargeting, personalized ads, credit-worthiness decisions, or surveillance.
Google API Data
Relay's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements.
We limit Google data use to user-facing Relay features that are visible in the app, such as contact sync, calendar sync, onboarding, localization, profile setup, organization matching, reminders, and relationship intelligence. We do not transfer Google user data except as needed to provide those features, protect the service, comply with law, or complete a user-approved business transfer.
Relay personnel do not read your Google data unless you ask us to help with a specific issue, it is necessary for security or abuse investigation, it is required by law, or the data has been aggregated for internal operations.
How We Share Information
We share information with service providers that help us operate Relay, such as hosting, database, email, analytics, payments, security, and AI infrastructure providers. These providers may process data only to support Relay. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect Relay and users, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Security and Retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect data in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but Relay is designed to keep relationship data private and scoped to the users and organizations that should have access.
We keep data for as long as needed to provide Relay, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may disconnect integrations, revoke Google access from your Google Account, export data where available, or request deletion.
Your Choices
You can choose which integrations to connect, approve or deny Google permissions during the consent flow, disconnect integrations, update profile information, and delete or export account data where Relay provides those controls. Some features may not work if you decline or revoke required permissions.
